Default ?? DVD Navigation purchase & update DIY

Quick question for my fellow forum members: I have 2006 RX 330 and I need to purchase DVD & update my navigation. I already know which disc I need to purchase from Sewell...My question is: All I have to do is once I receive the disc update; just load it into the DVD located in the back of the SUV and "Bam" that's it?? No tools?? Nothing else?? I know I will have to select my correct map region on the screen, but besides that...am I missing anything??

Nope, very simple. Just eject old and load new. Just takes a few seconds.

There are instructions on the Sewell website. No need to start the vehicle, just put the key in the ACC position while doing this. Once the new DVD is in place it will load the new data. The navigation screen will show you the status. When complete just remove the key and your good to go.

Awesome !! Thanks iluvny & Rainbird!!! Crazy that the dealers want to charge $179 for the older models which just require the disc...
