So for a few months I have been fighting with a battery that would die after only one or two days of not driving. At first I thought it was the battery and had it tested....It was perfectly fine. Then I thought it was because I have the hybrid and the battery is smaller than normal. Well I finally sucked it up and took it to Lexus to have them pinpoint the problem, and $260.00 later, it turns out that my iPod interface was drawing 300ma when the car was off. It is an Audiovox (Dice Electronics) Media Bridge. I have used the same exact interface in a past Prius and my Old BMW X3 and never had problems. I think it might be defective but I am waiting to hear back from Audiovox. So anybody have any good suggestions on an iPod interface? Specifically one that has a USB so I can use it with my old iPod classic and my iPhone 5s and also that has Sirius or XM built in.
