All that bothered me about rear door, is that it doesn't always want to close under it's own weight and of course we all know you shouldn't need to bang any door on a Lexus. That's why I think the power door is a good idea.
Guy at Infiniti invited me for a test drive of the QX70 and the power rear door was just very sweet to operate. The V6 Diesel engine, however sent me quickly back to my RX though (didn't drive the 3.7 petrol, they didn't have one in stock). Now you will ask me why don't you get an RX with a power door? Trust me I'm looking around. Had a look at the 2014 450h, but I just love the 2nd generation interior.
Guy at Lexus called me a while ago, he just received a trade-in 2008, with absolutely everything you can ask Father Christmas for and very low mileage, but then I had to go to Germany and when I got back, I ran to the dealer with my sweaty notes clutched tightly, but it was already sold. Fortunately there are more out there, you know those that the old lady only used for driving to church on Sundays ( in a manner of speaking).
