Tackling Mt. Everest: Timing Belt/Water Pump change (***DIY w/ pics***)

Some more coaching...I will do it!

I know this is an old thread, so instead of creating a new one I am just going to elaborate here.
I am about to tackle the timing belt in my 05 RX330 this weekend using the wonderful write up "alchemist" posted on this site. The vehicle has now 145,000 Miles and the belt still looks good, I have been visually checking it by removing the top bolts of the time belt cover at each oil change. However I feel that the more we drive it the more we gamble. I went ahead and purchased an OEM kit off Ebay, everything is Toyota/Lexus OEM. Everything looks good, AISIN water pump, Koyo Idlert, and most importantly Toyota Timing Belt. Upon carefully inspecting the brand new OEM timing belt I noticed that the new belt DOES NOT have the 2 solid yellow lines and a yellow dashed line, the only mark I see on the belt is the FR and an Arrow. I am clear on with alchemist write up "the Arrow is suppose to face away from the engine or facing me" during the install. I know the solid yellow lines and dashed are there to help during installation. Any suggestions that might help to make the installation a bit easier without those marks.
Someone in this forum mentioned that I should align the CAM marks and bottom gear to the 12 o'clock position with the old timing belt installed, then with a sharpie mark the old belt. Once the belt is removed match those marks on the new belt.
I am open for any suggestions and wish me luck. I've done a few timing belts in other Japanese vehicles I have owned in the past.
