Default Lexus Crossbars

I have a set of Lexus branded cross bars / roof racks on my car. Unfortunately the previous owner does not have the key, and hence I am now trying to find a solution to removing them without necessarily having to drill them out and then replace them.

Does anyone know what 2D074 might belong to? I checked the part number and any hits are Lexus. I spoke to a Lexus rep today who advised that they would need to drill it out, order in some new caps (with the relevant keys), all for the lovely price of $230.

They are caps for crying out load with a key. My previous car had Rhino Roof Racks and the caps are plastic endings with a key, exactly the same as this set. The caps are really just there to protect someone loosening the roof rack from the rail. I don't think they serve any other function.

I would like to find a cost effective way of removing these without having to pay an arm and a leg for it.

I had a look at my roof bars and they look awfully like my last set of actual Rhino Roof racks. I headed down to a local offroad shop and they had a look on the inside of the clamps and it was stamped "M073" which is a Rhino Roof rack part number. The key has been ordered and I will save myself at least $200 on getting this done.
