Has anyone successfully got a key cut and programmed from a locksmith in the LA area? I called my local locksmith (Bundy lock and key); and the dude kept saying “No Guarantee, No Guarantee). I sort of lost confidence that they can do it, after I spent $50 on a blank copy with remote.

Did you lose the key with the remote or just broke the plastic parts of the key? There may have been a couple of people here who was able to get the programming outside of the dealer but once you do your search here, you will see that most go to the dealer, since like your dude says, others can't guarantee.

I just want to make a copy, since I only got one master key. I've asked my local dealer in SM says they will not do anything for aftermarket keys.
