After much searching, I was able to find the only 4G bluetooth phone that is compatible with the 2006 Lexus RX400H. It's the HTC ThunderBolt. I'm sharing the information in case there are others out there who have upgraded their cell phones from 3G to 4G and find that they no longer work reliably with the car's blue tooth. The HTC ThunderBolt is one of the oldest 4G cell phones, so I was not able to purchase it from our Verizon store - I had to buy it on-line (I bought it through Amazon) and then bring it to the store to be activated.

Only phone that is compatible? I have an iPhone 6 and it works just fine with the handsfree.

4G and 3G aren't relevant to bluetooth compatibility. It's the bluetooth in the device that matter.

There are countless compatible devices. You might be referring to the only one listed as compatible. The lists are never fully up-to-date so they cannot be considered exhaustive. There are countless 4G devices that are compatible.
