I can't figure out if I need to remove the metal ring around my oem bushing to install this bushing, or keep it in (burn the rubber out) and press this bushing into the metal ring??? Anyone Know? Any help appreciated. 06 RX330 AWD

I am not sure if I would buy those. You need to press out rubber and metal ring. Here are the ones I bought...see the difference:

Hi all,

I am based across the pond in the UK, the Lexus dealers here do not sell the bushes separately, it has to come with the whole arm. Are they actually OEM bushes available from the US dealers?

Thanks.

My dealer only had the A-arms and they were expensive through lexus, therefore i opted for just the bushings from ebay as i had a good shop to press them in. If you can find good shop w 20 ton press just press new ones in. If not just purchase whole A arm off ebay or rock auto

Thanks a lot Alchemist,
Is there any particular brand that you go for? I found some on Ebay UK but not sure about their qualities.
Does this looks ok?

Well i dont know if that is a good thing or bad thing but they were identical to my factory ones and have held up just fine. If it was toothpaste, i probably wouldnt buy it.

On another note i never really searched hard to see if sewell carried these. If it makes you feel more comfortable you can do that

Nice. They look like a different design. Can you send pics? Where did you buy them?

Nice write up. I just ordered the entire arm units with ball joints and will complete this next weekend, hopefully the weather will cooperate!
