Default 2008 RX 350 30 pin adapter

Hello

First time lexus owner, so I am new to this. I own a 2008 RX 350. It has the 30 pin cable for the iphone. I want to use this for the Galaxy s4. If I got a 30 pin to headphone jack could I get the music to play? Also, anyway to play music with bluetooth? Thanks, Robbie

I would just buy a Dice Media Bridge. It will give you an aux jack, a USB jack, Sirius, and bluetooth streaming.

IIRC that's not stock. What sort of interface solution is it connected to? You might want to see if the interface has its own line in.

Not with the factory system. At least not without some sort of aftermarket bluetooth interface added.

I am not sure how it is connected. It was in the glove box. Should I look for some type of interface?

This is what you have. It was a Toyota/Lexus part and could have been installed by the dealership:

It only works for the iPod/iPhone devices as it only provided the 30 pin connection. The normal installation was to place it in the glovebox. If you want anything else you would need to remove this and install a completely different item.

Thanks for all the help. Could you get a 30 pin to headphone jack adapter? I am planning to install a dice mediabridge. I assume this will still work.

The media bridge will also have a headphone jack. Basically, the 30 pin that is already in your car will be useless as the media bridge will do everything the 30 pin does and more.
