Default Snow Chains for RX350 235/55/R18

I suspect most of you out there have no need for chains on your RX350. But if you do, I would highly recommend the Z Chain series of chains. They are a little more expensive but they are the same chains used by Police and Fire Depts.

For my 2008 RX350 size 235/55/R18 the Z-571 is the right model although I personally use a smaller size Z-563. These chains go on extremely easy. I live in Seattle where 6 inches of snow paralyzes the city. If you have chains you actually get home.

The best price I have seen for them is on Amazon. I can tell you right now that if you do need chains don't go cheap. There is a difference in the gauge of cable used as well as the construction.

I have these, too. I can attest to their value! Once climbed up a mile of backroad up a hill in 8 in. of untouched snow that's accumulated over a month with those babies!
