The supplied resistor was tiny so probably an 1/8 or 1/4 watt. Any wattage would likely work as it seems its at comm level (TX-, TX+ ?).
I've two spares & as you're in US if you drop me a PM I'd mail one out to you no cost. Tiny pay it forward as this forum really helped me w/my install.
Again I took a shortcut & just cut the leads short on the resistor & press fit the leads into the OEM 12-pin connector & wrapped w/a bit of tape + ziptie .

I have the Axxess TYTO-01 and Metra installation gear. Stereo works fine, I lose functionality of the upper display (A/C).
Metra says to install the resistor into the 10 and 9 pin Red and Black wires. The car does not have any such wires. #10 is Grey. #9 is Red and #8 is Black.
I tried both #10 and #9 and then #9 and #8, neither scenario brought back the A/C-Controls.
Hi, which Adax box u used? I tried metra aftermarket setup. Very bad sound on high volume.
I used the resistor on the contact which comes with 2 cables on my 2004 model

you probobly need the AX-ADBOX1 in conjunction with the TYTO-01 and maybe the metra 70-8114 also. i'm not sure but the NAv units need more then just the TYTO-01. You can email Metra costumer support directly. also Don't know if this helps, but the Beat-sonic has a direct plug-n-play solution for Mark Levinson with Navigation for the 400h. i had a similar problem with pin 9 and pin 10 and was able to solve it with this unit , metra 70-8114.
Read through all of this. Went to Metraonline which led me to Axxessinterfaces. Searched for my vehicle.
2004 RX330, ML/Nav and steering wheel controls. It came back with just one part. AX-TYAMP1-SWC
Anyone have experience with it? Is this really All I would need now?
