Default RX Headlight Lens Replacement

Hi all, thanks for reading my post.

First of all, i'm from Malaysia and i own a Toyota Harrier 2nd generation 2.4 litre Year 2004. Both Japan Toyota Harrier and US Lexus RX350 looks the same to me. My Harrier headlight lens became yellowish and not as clear as new. I have consult some headlight specialist in my country, they told me this is due to lens aging. Not much thing we can do to make it looks like new again.

Since i will be traveling to SF next month, can someone recommend me whether i can just buy the headlight lens instead of the whole headlight? Also whether the US RX350 headlight lens is compatible with Japan Toyota Harrier headlight?

you just need to polish it. there are many products/kits available. or do it on the cheap like i did.

go buy some wet/dry sandpaper. 1000 and 2000 (3000 if you want, i didnt bother)

get a spray bottle with soapy water, spray down liberally, and start at 1000, keep spraying. then move to 2000.

after this, dry off the headlight. it will look worse than when you started. its ok. dont panic.

grab some plastic polish (there are some meant for headlights) and start to polish/buff. if you have a buffing wheel/power buffer use that carefully.

done, clear and like new
