Shifter won't come out of park
Wife's '05 RX330 (AWD) is beginning to get caught when she tries to shift out of P. She is patient, waits and tries a couple of times, and then it works. So, she hasn't exactly been stranded..... yet. Any knowledge on what causes this? I've had a shift interlock problem in another vehicle before, but I'm not sure about the Lexus.
FWIW this RX has the issue with the VSC, BRAKE, and TPSM lights coming on all the time. And I mean all the time. I realize it's probably the brake light switch needing to be replaced, but we've done that once and the issue popped up again. So, now we just deal with it and drive it as-is until we get around to fixing it.
Thanks for any advice.

it could also be the solenoid that actually moves to allow you to move from park.
in the event she gets "stuck" pop the little cover to the left of the ****, and insert the key, while pushing down, move the shifter to neutral.
start vehicle, and shift into drive.
