walks way unscathed. Hit by a 15 passenger van, exceeding speed limit by 30 MPH.
Just bought her RX400h

I remember how proud you were of that vehicle. New tires not long ago, were there not?

Glad to hear your daughter is OK. Just make sure she gets checked out to make sure she really is OK. Too bad about the RX. I know how diligent you've been to ensure it's a safe vehicle for her to drive. Now because of someone's stupidity, it's gone

when ppl say "why didn't you get her something...cheaper, smaller, better mpg...." I show them a photo of the accident and they say..."Oh...I see"

The airbags in Lexus are excellent at protecting occupants. Glad your daughter is OK. My son's IS350 was totaled by a 45mph red light runner. The side curtain airbags did their job well he was uninjured.

Thanks for sharing. My wife's daily driver is an RX 350. Stories like this make me thankful she's in one. She previously drove a Geo Metro. Small upgrade.
