I am trying to order a set of rims for my 2008 RX400h......and I need some input from this forum about offset options.
Wheels I want are 20x8.5, I already have the tires and they are 245/45R20.
The offsets for front and rear need to be the same (I know the look is better with a lower rear offset, but I want to rotate wheels front to rear and I am NOT willing to re-mount the tires for each wheel rotation)
The two offset choices I have are +30 or +40 (from researching other posts, I believe the +30 will be fine and will not rub anywhere)
If you have extensive knowledge about wheel sizing, please suggest an offset and tell me why you are suggesting that particular size.
Thanks!

I have 255/45/20 tires on 20x8.5 wheels with offset of +25 all around on my 2006 RX400h.
They don't stick out at all, no rubbing, no issues.
These tires are a bit wider than the 245's that you've selected.
You can also go to rimsntires dot com and do a comparison with the stock 18x7+35 wheels to see how the proposed tire/wheel size and offset affects proximity to brake/suspsenion, fender, etc. it really helped me when I was shopping for wheels.
I uploaded pics to a poll thread titled "what rims size looks best for RX".
