Default Rx330 afs off fix

Yesterday I was driving my 2005 RX330 home from work, when I realized my AFS OFF light was on. Not flashing, just on. So I reached under the dash, pressed the button, and the light wont go out. I can verify that the lights do not move while driving. But they do the typical start up movement when the car is initially started. I tried a series of 8 button presses that I thought would initiate the adjustment cycle...but nothing.
Can anyone help???
Thanks

I had this problem once and found that one of the harnesses was loose. I can't remember which one it was, as this was happened over a year ago. I would try that and see if it works for you, too!

That's great! Was it just a loose connection?

Hi -

I bumped into this post searching for the AFS light reasons on my 2006 RX330.
If you still have the car, would it be possible for you to post a picture or point me to the location of the harness that was loose to get the AFS back to working? Mine has been out for some time now, but only today did the light come on.

Thanks!
