I would definitely check the carfax for it, its not just hard to sell salvage vehicle, if anyone hits you in the future, the insurance will pay you little to nothing as well. And there might be hidden damages not visible. If it really is a simple cosmetic fix it wouldn't have a "salvaged" title. That being said if you have to ask how much it will cost to repair I think the time and hassle will not be worth it. That vehicle will be better suited for someone who knows and has the time to fix it. Parts and labor here and there will add up IMO. .

i'm getting the windshield from safelite and they order through dealer because I opted for OE equipment which is included on my policy so I pay only $100 deductible but that aside $400-$500 make sure it's rain sensing windshield
