I have the maintenance required light come on my car. Had the timing belt replaced a year ago. I need to find a good Lexus mechanic in the Modesto area. Does anyone know anyone? What will they do or replace for this maintenance?

The Maintenance Required light is nothing more than a reminder that you need an oil change. Once reset it will come back on again after 5K miles unless it is reset beforehand. If you recently had an oil change and it has not been 5K miles it only means the tech did not reset it. You can do this yourself. Instructions can be found by searching the forums here at CL.

All this is spelled out in your Owner's Manual.
