I think they will both sell well...the only thing I question is the re-sale value of the infiniti...but to answer your question I'm sure almost everybody would agree that they would want to test drive each before judging on which one is best. Feature to feature they seem very close, the only "cool" feature that the FX has over the RX (that I can think of right now)is the keyless entry system...

Well, if strong demand for the G35 sedan/coupe continue, I think we may see a better resale value out of the Infiniti lineup. The FX35/45 look like they should be a big hit.

The RX330 is more luxury oriented and the FX35/45 is more sport oriented!!!!

The FX35/45 comes with a sport tuned suspension and 20 inch wheels...... So handling must be excellent!!!! Weight distribution F35 is 53/47 vs RX330 57/43........

There is a test drive in some magazine where the FX45 did 0.87 G's in the Skidpad for a SUV that is incredible.....

So which of the two is the best is going to be a close call!!!!!

Intresting the Two wheel drive version of the FX35 is RWD and the Two wheel drive version of the RX330 is FWD.......

Interesting that the FX is 3 inches longer and 3 inches wider, yet only has 65 cubic feet of cargo space v. 85 for the Rx.

An FX35 with the sport suspension is going to have a much stiffer ride than the RX. If you opt for the base model there are only 4 color choices compared to the RX having 9! One nice feature of the FX35 is availability of satellite radio. It should also out- accelerate the RX. Styling-wise, it's a close call; I'm not too crazy about either one of them. I like the fact that the FX35 is RWD. I like the adjustable suspension available on the RX. The seats on the RX are bound to be more comfortable. And the RX has a lot more cargo room. The RX also gets much better gas mileage. The FX35 costs less. It's not an easy call. Hopefully, it will be an easier call once we get to test drive them.

Default Sometimes it is hard to pick.

The FX is essentially a copy of the nissan murano, with some upgrades IMO. My wife hated the nissan murano vs her RX, but to each his own. Nissan/Infiniti does not make a bad product, but is not the same as the lexus, it may be quicker but in the long run the lexus seems to always win (IMO) (remeber I am a former Nissan owner and loved my vehicle, that is before I got my Lexus, no compairson.)

I don't see the FX35 as a copy of the Murano. I have owned many Lexus vehicles, and currently own two, and have very high regard for them and the company, so you can say I'm heavily biased in favor of the RX330 at this point. I'll say this about the FX35/FX45, though: it got me to go into an Infiniti dealership for the first time in my life! I'm going to give them a chance.

The RX330 has slightly more equipment than the FX35...Rain sensing wipers, air suspension, Adaptive headlights..ect.....

The only features that i recall that the FX35/45 has that the RX330 doesn't is the Bi-xenon lights and the Keyless strart of the engine......

There is no comparison between the FX45/35 and the Murano....

The Murano is based on the Altima platform and the FX is based on the G35 platform....

The FX is a complete notch above the Murano!!!!!

The only significant features of the FX35 over the RX330 to me are satellite radio, more power, and rear wheel drive. From an overall features perspective, the RX surpasses the FX35, imo.

What exactly is "steering wheel memory"? Part of seat position memory? My 99 RX does not have it, then again my MB did!

Seat, outside mirror, and steering wheel memory are part of the same system. My MB S500 had inside rear view mirror memory in addition to outside mirrors, but I don't think many cars have that. It broke once and MB said it cost nearly $1000 to replace it!
