Question Different headlights on RX330?

I was wondering if anyone else noticed this on the new RX330, but appears that the "version" of the RX330 with the 6 spoke wheels doesn't have projector (i think that is what they are called) headlights. Looking at the photo below I don't notice it, whereas on the 5-spoke version you really can see them. If this is indeed the case, as I mentioned before regarding that they should have the 5-spoke wheel design on every RX330, they should have the projector headlights as well. At least in my opinion it makes it looks it best and more different than the original RX.

Yeah I noticed that too...I just assume that the projector beams are the xenons with the adapative headlight system (or whatever they call it)....I agree with you that it looks better with the projectors. I think the wheel issue is the five spoke are the optional 18" and the six spoke are the standard 17"??
Another difference (I think?) have some of the interior pics shown steering wheel controls on the right as well as the left(audio)..and some just on the left?

Does the RX with projector headlights also have headlight washers? The little blisters under the headlights.

BTW I like the 6 spoke 17" wheels fine.

It does look like those might be headlight washers, but they're kinda far below the headlights aren't they? If they're not headlight washers they might be sensors to assist in parallel parking as are found on some domestic minivans and SUVs? God I hope that isn't the case - I hate it when manufacturers dumb down the vehicle to suit incompetent drivers.

Which is better Projector or Multireflector headlights?

I am a little surprise that the RX330 doesn't use Bi-xenon headlights like some european cars!!!!!!

ivan111...about the bi-xenons, they couldn't give it everything because that would leave nothing for them to introduce next year!

projectors are better... more focused optics than multiflectors...

bi-xenons? not familiar with those...

Yep, those are headlamp washers. They are included if you get heated seats.

Refer to the following for complete package information.

I noticed that too but I Was just assuming that picture was probably a close to final prototype or something so maybe they changed it a little after the picture. It seems kinda stupid to put reflectors in when projectors are so much better suited for both halogens and HIDs. Its such a much cleaner focused output than reflectors. Hopefully the picture is just a almost final protype.

Bi-xenons uses the same xenon low beam bulb for high beam also!!!! Mercedes,BMW, Porsche and Infiniti with the FX uses bi-xenon lights!!!!!!

Instead of xenon for low beams and Halogen for the high beams!!!!

Which picture is the one where you can see the "laser"?

All I ask for is a RX with a fricking laser in the front. Is that so hard?
