RX 330 rack & pinion, water pump
Took my 2006 RX 330 for an oil change and they tell me the rack & pinion needs full replacement and water pump as well. This car has only 40,000 miles and has been well maintained at the local dealer. Got a second opinion and they agreed with the dealer. Anyone had this issue?

no probably age related. if you get waterpump replaced you may as well get timing belt done....the timing belt ddrives the waterpump. as for steering rack, sorry to hear that.
