Hi guys newly joined as just bought a UK RX300 2004 model can any one on here help me as im looking to fit an ipod to my stereo. The stereo system is the integrated 6x cd changer with the casset built in.
Is there any plug in set up available for this unit?
If not i was considering changing the complete unit for a double din stereo unit are there any iso lead kits( that also work from the steering wheel) for this available? and where can i purchase some from?

Just to add to my last thread that the stereo unit is not a ML unit and it has sat nav.

Yeah there are a few products. I have sat-nav with a ML stereo and I have my iPod integrated into it. I don't have the name of my brand handy at the moment. I am in Australia so not sure what might be available specifically in the UK,

Thanks for the info. If you could let me know what the brand is i don't care if i have to ship it in from another country as long as it works.
I've been through all the local dealers here in England and so far had no results. Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My 04 has the cassette and CD in the stereo. A quick and easy way to add your Ipod is a cassette adapter. There are many on Amazon, Ebay, and other sites. I paid less than $10 for mine. Plugs in the headphones jack on the Ipod and you put the cassette portion in the cassette deck. Sound isn't the greatest but for ease and $ it's an option.

Many thanks to you RX330inFL the links were really useful. i'll have to see if i can find Vaistec or isimple suppliers over this side of the pond first then if not i'll have to import one.

Hi guys just a quick update for those who are in the UK i have found a company on good old ebay that sells ipod interface units they are called the carputer shop and sell a version called the GROM Audio IPD3 - iPod/iPhone car stereo interface for older Toyota / Lexus cars (#TOY1) and retails for £90.00 with free delivery in the UK.
I shall await delivery and see how easy it is to fit!!
