If you want to "do yourself in" with sea foam in your RX330 I do not think it would be much different than this:

I dump the Seafoam on my gas tank. Every 4 to 5K miles.

I did it through the PVC line about a year ago. My motor must have some serious carbon, because when I tried to shut it off it kept dieseling on me. I had a Helluva time getting it to shut down.

@lexus114, do you have a diagram of what line you poured the SeaFoam into?
Thanks,
Chris

No diagram, but it was the pvc line on the rear valve cover.

Very interesting, can you tell us more details? How did it finally resolve itself and was there a big change in the positive?

Any reason you want to seafoam this car? Any problems you're getting or so?

The only thing I've ran thus far was a bit of injector cleaner once every few months. But then again, my mechanic has some stuff similar to SF [but dealer-grade] that cleans out carbon so I have him do that if he's ever in the engine bay for some work. Last time we did the spark plugs we cleaned out the chambers and intake side of things prior to putting it back together.

I quite frankly don't see the benefit of this stuff, and I've ran it in my ES300 once before.

That's typically the one people use for SF since it's hard to miss and easy to access and hold the glass with 1/3 the seafoam can.

@01lexpl, I just turned 200K and I want it to keep running as well as it is; so really preventative work as I'm not experience any problems.
Now as for my IS250 I want to keep it clean as I don't want to deal with the carbon build-up issue
And do you have a diagram I just want to ensure I'm doing everything correctly
