Default Bought a used key--which blank do I need 39mm or 47mm?

So I bought a used OEM original key from a Lexus to reprogram to my RX400h 2007. Now I need to get a new blank for it.

What size blank do I need? Ebay has 54mm length keys available (most common):
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blank-Remote-Key-for-LEXUS-GS400-GS430-RX400H-LS400-/280372267856?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item41477d4b50&vxp=mtr
I measured my valet key and it is approximately 40mm sticking out from the key. But I'm not sure if the original key is longer or not?

I only found the 39mm key as part of the whole shell combo:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Remote-Blank-Key-Shell-Case-Uncut-Blade-Short-For-Lexus-ES300-GS-LS-IS-RX-39mm-/271111259018?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3ALexus&hash=item3f1f7d838a&vxp=mtr
Which blank should I buy? Thanks

If they are only $3.49, buy one of each

After researching I found out that neither of the above keys I posted will work for my 2007 RX400h. So even if I bought both I'd be SOL defo haha.

Apparently the blank is attached to the key itself and you need the to buy the shell of the key which includes the blank in it. I bought the shell from an eBay seller for $15 for one, and $20 for two shells (original). You can buy the Chinese knock-off for $5 but it doesn't look as good as the original.

Try the following company on eBay, beejohn. Several here have used them in the past:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/1010keys/m.html

If you know your key code you can provide that to these guys and they will cut the key for you. Was on a tag with the keys when the vehicle was purchased new. If you do not know the key code you can take your VIN and proof of ownership to the dealer and they will look it up for you. It is also on the credit card emergency key which comes with the RX as well.

Keep in mind that you will need to also find the electronics for these keys if you do not already have enough of them for each blank and have a dealership program the chips to your vehicle. This is where the major cost is involved.
