Cool RX350 Front Suspension Noise

Hi,

I have a 2007 RX350 with 47,500 miles on the odo. I recently noticed the left front shock absorber sounds like it is loose when driving slowly over bumpy roads. I have ordered a new set of shock absorbers, but am wondering wether the shock mountings will also be worn. Any one had this problem in the past?

Sounds like a strut mount issue, or possibly a control arm bushing being torn. Have a tech check the entire linkage from the ball joints, to the tie rod ends, to the strut itself. If you don't see oil coming from the strut, it may not be bad. Also that is very low milage for one to go bad.

Thanks for the feedback. Will take the car in this coming week and have the tech check it out.
