I know the 5 TPS sensors on my rx350 are "registered" by the dealer with the computer. I am thinking about getting a 2nd set of rims with snows on one set and summer tires on the other. Is it possible to register the 4 new TPS sensors without losing the old settings--i.e. have 9 sensors read by the computer with only 5 tires on the vehicle at a time?

That way I can change over the tires myself without having to dismount them twice a year.

You have 2 settings on the TPMS. Exactly one for summer and winter.

There is button under the storage compartment at the passenger side. Position 1 normally is set for summer tire. You can register 4 new tire plus the spare to position 2.
