Dimming interior lighting
Can't find anything on here that answered my question so thought I'd see if anyone could help?
Is there a way (or has anyone done a mod) to dim the dial lighting (speedo, etc) without dimming the rest of the interior lighting. It could be me but I find the dial lighting too bright at night so use the dimmer, but I don't want the rest of the lighting to dim. Wondered if it was possible to just have the dial lighting connected to the dimmer and disconnect the rest? Have a feeling "it ain't that simple bud" may be the reply!
Hope this makes sense and if it's been asked/answered before I apologise but couldn't find an answer.

exraf welcome. Easy to do. The dimmer switch clicks into place if you want the display permanently bright. The best thing to do, is to move the dimmer switch to just before it clicks into place. This allows maximum brightness during the day and at night time this self dims with the NAV (if you have it). The remainder of lit instruments aren't then affected.
