Questions about 2004 RX 330 passenger mirror
Our RX 330 has a loose passenger mirror and it is getting cloudy. I have a replacement, correct color. On the replacement mirror, I have taken the mirror apart to the point that the wiring is the only thing holding the outside housing. I did not take out the remaining screw that is near the wiring. Can just the outside housing be changed? If not, I have researched how to remove the whole assembly. Once again the wiring connector is the hang up. I cannot find if the door panel has to be removed to access the connector. I found one forum entry that said to remove the master control switch before removing. I have an appointment for service and will ask the dealer to install if it is not something I can do. Should I just let them do it or is it doable by a reasonably competent hobby mechanic?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Is the connection accessable without pulling the door panel?
The power for the mirror that I have has a clip on it that looks like holds the wire well down into the door. I thought that the door panel would have to come off to access the connector and thats the part I havn't been able to find instructions on how to do that.
