What air freshner do you use for the car?
#6
Most air fresheners are too strong, IMO. I will spray the carpets with Febreeze Auto, but I then leave the car open for a bit to help dissipate the smell. I have also sprayed the incoming air vents with Lysol disinfectant spray (crisp linen scent), but I then run the system with the car open to dissipate that as well. If the scent of a product is too strong or sticks around too long after use I try to avoid it. Scents I prefer run on the lighter side (linen, rain, breeze,...) or citrus.
Every product you use in your vehicle leaves a residual scent. Meguiar's detailing cleaners, Murphy's Oil Soap, Lexol leather care products, etc. Even that pizza you picked up the other evening for dinner leaves a residual scent you can notice days later. I hate that. Usually the last thing present is the scent you pick up most even days later. Use the one you like most last if possible.
In the end, it is best to find something that works for you. What scents do you like best? Then, find a product which gives you the desired result. You may also have to play a bit with the scent's location in the vehicle.
