Angry CDs Won't Eject....HELP!!!!!!

I bought a preowned rx330 and loaded up 6 cds in my changer and now I am getting error 4 and they will NOT eject!!!!! I realize now after doing some research that for whatever reason, homemade cds get stuck. Well I've tried ALL the suggestions listed here and NOTHING.

Unhooking the battery for an hour did NOT reset my radio and still nothing.....

Of course Lexus says $900 to replace, but I'm NOT doing that. I just want them out so I can listen to my U2 cd....LOL

PLEASE tell me how to get these stupid cds out!!!!!!!!

In my RX330, the plastic door that covers the actual slot was broken early on, and the CDs would try to eject but couldn't due to the door not moving up. Just take a credit card and slide it up and under the door to bring it up as the CD is trying to eject. I cut some thin pieces of scotch tape and maneuvered them in there to hold the door permanently up, which enables full operation of the player, and you can't even tell that it is taped up.

well there is no sound like they're trying to eject. From what I understand, the error 4 is because these are cds that i've burned myself. Even though there aren't any lables on them. I am so frustrated!!!

Use the search this forum feature with the key words "error 4". This error message has been extensively discussed here before.

Even without labels, burnable CDs tend to be thicker than those which come from the music companies.

Check out the following company for your CD repair needs:

I've been able to get cd's out of other cars using two popsicle sticks to pull them out.

Back in the SC Forums, you can search on threads with this issue. One of them is banging on the HU. My hands hurt and nothing.

I dumped the CD player and installed an AUX in and never looked back (for the SC). Now my RX has the same VAISTECH adapter as well, works great.

The tolerances in there are pretty fine, so ejection is not an uncommon problem.
When one of my CDs does not want to eject, I have had great success using the edge of another CD to jog the stuck item up or down a bit.
For the most part, I have found that the ejection problems are because the leading edge of the CD gets stuck on the top or bottom of the slot.
