Default High Beam suddently quick working

Both high beams on a RX 330, 2006 went out suddenly. What could have caused that?

Did your daytime running lights go out as well?

Before you spend money trying to fix this, make sure at least one of the bulbs is good (at least looks good)

If the DRLs went out too, then first I would check the fuses to see if it is a blown fuse (or two). I know that each of the headlight bulbs (low and high beam) have individual fuses (at least on models with HID low beam).

IF YOU HAVE A MULTIMETER (or some way to see if the bulb is getting power or not)

If the fuses are good, I would see if the bulb is getting power. If it is getting power, then make sure the bulb is good (buy a new bulb if you have to). If the bulb is not getting power, check the high beam relay (located on the passer side). If the relay is good, then you probably have a short in the wire someplace.

I can explain it in greater detail if you would like. Good luck.

Both high beams on my 2007 RX 400H died last night also. If you could explain in further detail, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

My mechanic checked and it was the bulbs. He replaced both high beams and one smaller light (DRL?) that is right above the high beam.
