Tips on buying a 04' rx330 over 80,000

My only suggestion is do not get the Altima. :-)
Don't get me wrong - I own/drive my altima 3.5 as daily (2002 to today), great car for the money but other than that it is what it is. If you are looking for luxury/comfort/quality finish, you definitely want to steer away. If you are looking for reliable, altima is good fit.
That 2006 RX330 sound like a good deal to me. It appears it just needs regular maintenance work done for ~100k mile car (timing belt, water pump, fluids, plugs/tune-up) which it needs anyway and if dealer is picking up some tab that's a definite plus. Being that you live in NM, 2wd should be good and I personally think NAV/DVD on RX is way overrated. It's on my wife's RX and I personally do not like it. If purchasing again, I would definitely opt for NO NAV and go aftermarket.
Good luck, hope you find a good RX.

Sounds like a good price for the year/miles. Make sure you like the interior/exterior color combo and the options.
Good luck.
Good luck.

I got it!
Well I got the RX on Friday and the dealer consented to do all the requests from mechanic, with timing belt. I leave for a 12 hour trip and that will tell us how it truely rides. All the records I found on Lexus.com were extremely helpful, they took it in every time for maintence faithfully. The car is from a city 45 minutes away so that is good. I only found one strong issue, that I thought it had a funky smell coming from the air conditioner, but I cleaned the vents and the car seemed to get better, but as I vacuumed I noticed pet hair, and 2 stains, which I think they are pee stains, explains the smell. I will clean the carpets and see if smell goes away, but the leather is immaculate so I dont know if the pet had just been in the kennel in the back, oh well. If anyone knows what cleaner is best let me know.
I got the color I wanted and even got a newer year. Funny, I had all my requests written down, and all got fullfilled, except I wanted to pay $15,000 and I went over $500, but that is totally ok, I got more than I bargained for, and the icing on the cake is that I had switched insurance and am only paying $150 for 6 months saving over $300 of previous 01 lexus Overall I am extremely happy with the purchase and glad it is finally over. Thanks everyone for the tips, they were extremely helpful!
