My 2008 RX 350 - Definitely having concerns
Well, hate to have a first post in a negative light but I am a bit perplexed with my 2008 RX350. It currently has 84,000 miles. I have had it two years, so obviously bought it used from a dealership. Since this purchase I have had both front drives and passenger doors actuators break and require replacement (I had to unlock/lock with key only). Now currently the power button on the interior no longer opens the rear hatch. Oh, and today now when I run the AC or heat when it starts blowing I now hear a loud "motor noise" which was never present before.
Is this a normal break/fix rate? I ask because prior to this I had an Acura TL and I hit 214,000 miles with it before the first part EVER to break and that was the alternator.

I feel like that may be a lot for a car with that low of miles....But even though Lexus is good as a whole there can still be a lemon. You had great experiences with the TL but I used to have a 2004 TL and I had a handful of problems with it before it ever hit 100k. My RX hasn't had any problems. So you just never know.
As for your current problems...I am not sure about the sound from the AC but the back door could be a couple things that are both easy fixes. First, check and see if the pwr door cancel button in the glove box accidentally got pushed. If that doesn't fix the problem, pull out the pwr door button and see if the harness that plugs into it came loose. This is likely to happen if you frequently open and close the door that hides the button as the door can push on the wiring. An indicator that the wire came loose would be if you turn on the lights and the pwr door button doesn't light up.
