Hello. My name is Nathan and I just purchased my first Lexus back in August. I bought an all black CPO 2006 RX400h with 33,600 miles. The vehicle is fully loaded except for the navigation system. Before this I owned a Toyota Camry and I knew that Lexus would be just as reliable but the luxary level would definitely be a step up. I bought this mostly for the reliablility and the mpg it is suppose to get. My wife and I have a 1 year old and getting this vehicle gave us the extra storage room for all the stuff we have to bring with anytime we go somewhere. We are also looking at pulling a small camper as well. So far I have been really happy with my purchase. I look forward to reading about other Lexus owners dicussions and also learning a thing or two about my SUV.

Welcome to the forum Nathan.

I believe you will find this forum an incredible resource. Don't hesitate to ask questions and do explore the search function as most of the questions you may ask have already been answered.

Take a moment to register your new RX on the Lexus.com website. You would then have access to your vehicle's service records and also obtain an owners manual if yours is missing. You will also be advised of any and all recall information.

The members here are a great bunch and we also have some outstanding forum sponsors who offer member discounts so check them out as well.

Great choice. I kind of wish I went with the 400H as the MPG is significantly better in my opinion than the non hybrid. But with all the modifications I do to my RX I am sure that would not have lasted very long.

Welcome!

Welcome!
You would be modding the charging and battery systems. Think of it -- a plug-in RX.

Welcome to Club Lexus. Pulling a small camper should not be a problem. The OEM Lexus or Toyota trailer hitch is rated for 3500 lbs. Keep that in mind when purchasing your camper.
