Where is the best place to purchase a detailed repair manual, book or pdf type?

The only service manual I know of is the one from Lexus. There has no service manual from 3rd party. So your choices are buying from eBay or subscribing to http://techinfo.toyota.com.

Fleabay should have them. All in printed form. If it is electronic, all probability it will be a copy which is illegal. Watch out for it.
