Default 2004 RX330 Navigation out of coordinates

I have a 2004 RX330
I put my car away for summer, and next thing you know the gps is not in coordinates
it detects me as a city away from me

tried pulling out of battery, and even went into the service menu
nothing worked

any luck guys?

How long did you let it try to find the satellites? if the car has been sitting for a long time it could take awhile for the nav unit to find the satellites that it uses.

Yes I did, even pulled out the whole nav unit and re insert it

and i don't think it's the disc problem, because disc only allows the unit to read the north american map, not the actual location

well..it has already been a month
and during this month, only about 4 days that it gets correct coordinates
otherwise it's off by at least 40km
