need instructions on bull bar installation
Hi. I bought a front bull bar for my rx350 2009. It didn't come with good instructions. I can't figure out the mounting points for the bar. Can some onr let be know where it gets attached to. A picture would be greatly apreciated.
Thanks

The mounting would be very specific to the bar and other than winging it, the best thing would be to contact the manufacturer.
Here is my favorite manufacturer's site:

I had the rear one installed but haven't seen a front one I liked. I was first using google then I was looking around on Ebay, the eBay guy had a shop in Queens, and he was open on a Sunday. So I drove out initially to just get the bar and I was going to install it myself. The guy first said $50 then said $40 since I bought the bar from him. He talked me into having it done there at his shop because he had the tools and said the work was guaranteed.
It took about 1/2 hour for them to do it. He said to check it, so he pushed it, kicked and tried to pull it and said that it was on firmly. While I was driving home, some fool, probably just learning how to drive stick ran into my rear and hit me very hard. Got out and check, my bumper was fine and his was cracked. So I'm glad that I had the shop do it.
There maybe someone in the forums here that can do it, (because there's folks that do aftermarket alarms here too) but if you want the name of the place I went to get it done at just pm me.

Whats your guys take on these affecting the airbags in a crash? I've always ran these on my trucks and i still currently use one now but some friends have told me to take it off because it can delay my airbags if i got in an accident. It's definately saved me a couple times from minor bumps but if it can cause a delay in a serious crash im thinkin its time to take it off.

Personally, I do not have a very high opinion of air bags. I do intend to get the rear and front bars at some point. I figure it could save me thousands $$$ in bumper repairs. Plus it makes the RX looks nasty I like that
