Service History?
Hello,
I'm new to the RX forum and am currently working a deal with a private seller on a preowned RX330. I wanted to ask about the Service History pulled from the car's VIN #.
Dealer Reported 210973C LAMPS & BULBS - 23
Dealer Reported 0183885 20000 MILE SERVICE - 00
Dealer Reported 0183885 BODY (WINDOW/DOOR) - 30
Dealer Reported 0183885 ESTIMATE TO REPLACE DRIVERS REPLECTOR ON REAR BUMPER
Would anyone happen to know what they mean? It doesn't seem like an accident, but a replacement, but I'm not exactly sure about the BODY (WINDOW/DOOR) - 30 portion. Any ideas?
Thanks.

My guess on the body-window...replace the trim on the rear door. Which has been a failure with the 3M adhesive. That triangle black trim would just fall off and they are not available as a separate piece.

Hey guys,
Thank you for the response. I thought perhaps the RX Second Gen forum was kinda dead without receiving a response.
Anyway, I did not know about the failure from the 3M adhesive for the rear window. The failures I was aware of based on lurking and reading up on the forum are the headlight moisture, delicate key casing, and console/dash rattles. I did ask a friend of mine who works for Lexus to give me information regarding the history report but he did not have a chance to get back to me. I guess overall, the car I’m interested in should be okay.
The service advisor was not Filipino, I actually did not speak to one. I pulled the report from Lexus after jotting down the VIN # so I never set foot at the dealer.
Hopefully, later this afternoon, I will be a part of the Clublexus.com community. Speaking of which, the car does show two recalls that need to be completed. The floor mat and master cylinder.
Nice bottle of Chamisool btw~

I took delivery of the 2005 RX330 tonight. I never really thought I would be driving an SUV but I'm pretty happy with the purchase. Now I'm doing some research regarding iPod auxiliary options.

After researching for a good iPod connector kit, I decided to buy the GTA Car Kit. I plan to use the auxiliary port with my smart phone with Pandora and Tune-in Radio. Does anyone have a good solution to mount a smart phone somewhere near the center console? I’m placing mine on top of the passenger seat but I feel like it’ll slide everywhere.

Yeah not a good idea. If you have to stop short (which happens all the time around here) that thing will go flying. Put it in the cup holder for the time being.

I can't get the second photo with the iPhone velcroed to the dash to post. But it's there at that address. Maybe one of you folks with better tech skills can do it.

I got my GTA Car Kit today and installed it about an hour ago. The install was pretty straight forward, but figuring out how to hide the wires to the arm rest area was a little challenging. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.
I will, however, admit that for some reason, my temporary audio solution by using the tape deck/aux input adapter sounded better than the GTA Car Kit. The tape deck adapter had more clarity to the music. The GTA Car Kit on the other hand sounded a bit distorted and the bass overpowered the mids and highs. I thought the problem stemmed from my iPod using an equalizer preset but after I checked the iPod's setting, the equalizer was turned off by default. I did manage to improve the sound quality a little by changing the iPod EQ preset to Classical and/or Bass Reducer but the music still sounded a bit mellow.
On the other hand, when I tried Pandora and Tune-in Radio from my android, the music sounded great!
