I purchased it used with 60k miles on it. It now has 89k miles on it. So it has been driven significantly more than the 10-15 per year.

There's a poll I run in the 1st generation forum about check engine light codes, and the #1 group of codes its related to the A/F sensors and O2 Sensors (more so to the A/F sensors from what I've seen). 100K is when I started seeing a lot more of these codes on my RX300 and Mexico was not kind to those sensors, but I only replaced the two A/F and one O2 sensor on mine after I was in the U.S. for a few years.

As I said, I know people did this in Mexico (sensors tend to run more down there than here for the same vehicle), however at some point cleaning it can only do so much and the sensor needs to be replaced.
