Is this a great deal on Michelins?

hmmm.... it depends, are you getting it from a retailer? if not i will probably pass. what if it is defective? you are gonna be spending more on installation and headaches, etc.... but if it is from a retailer that can back you up, let me know where it is and i will probably get couple sets...

But are you sure you want this tire? Average tire at best.

They're not from a retailer. They're from a private party. The tires are take-offs...essentially new. They are dated from 2011 so they've haven't been sitting around for years. I'm off course going to inspect the tires before buying. But I figure that this is a pretty good deal.

I bought a set of Michelins for my Ford F150 with rims for $500 and never regretted it...They were takeoffs, and was great, just put them on truck and was done.
