Default Buying a used 2007 RX400H...

So tommorow i go check out a rx400H for my uncle.

Anything I should look for while driving? any known Problems or issues that pop up?

It has 44K miles at a price of 28k.... 3-owners and previously a Lease/Fleet vehicle.

Thanks for any input. Sorry if this has been answered before...kinda finding my way around the forums.

If the RX you are looking at isn't Lexus certified, it might be good to have it inspected by a Lexus dealer to make sure there isn't anything obviously wrong. You could take it to a trusted mechanic, but I don't know how much they would know about the hybrid stuff.

Review the RX400h forums. There is a ton more info on that model there:

yea. i was just trying to look for a quick answer on if there were any basic/major issues with the car. I didnt have too much time to research last night and go through a bunch of pages. Oh well too late now.

The car was serviced at the lexus dealer up until 9/15/11 which is a week before the car went on sale. All service was checked out through the lexus website and it is now for sale.

Drives well, but need new tires. Overall I am not a hybrid type of guy, because of the starting acceleration, but it does drive well overall.

Just a question, what do you mean "starting acceleration?"

I was under the impression the hybrid was more powerful.
