Carver it looks okay, but still not in my tastes. In saying that if you are happy with it (and that's all that really counts) then have fun with your meshed grill.

Yes, I've never liked louvered or slat grilles, they always remind me of old water cooler air conditioners, not a good look for me. Mesh looks more like a car grille to me, but as you say, it's personal taste.

I like it because it is definitely unique.

Carver, congrats on finally getting your grill on. I agree, it makes it unique. I'd be curious to see what it looks like with the Lexus emblem on instead of the BAA badge. Which looks really cool BTW.

Well it's really different and not bad looking. MILLIONS better looks than that horrible photochopped photo you showed at first post. Love the Badge!

I'm gonna get in trouble for this but sorry in advance , my 1st impression is the 'pudding face' commercial. But maybe it would grow on me in person.

I have a collection of grille badges and this one is from the British Automobile Association. This particular badge was issued in 1960 by the London AA and there is an admonishment on the reverse that the badge MUST be returned to the London AA should you be stripped of privileges and drummed out of the Association. Well, maybe not that severe but they did want it back.

I'm going to "operate" on it. Find something to replace the factory insert that will hopefully irritate even more people than the mesh has.

Looks good, I'd be interested if this came in Black or Powder Coated Gray
