Help! Squeaking park brake
Hi all,
My 2007 RX 350 makes a loud squeak when the park brake is engaged. It appears that the park brake engages through a cable linkage that runs to each rear wheel. Inspecting the linkages under the car, there is no visible exposed mechanism that can be lubricated or adjusted, so I'm at a loss as to how to get rid of the noise. Has anyone experienced this and been able to resolve it?
Many thanks,
AJ

When I changed the rear rotors, my back left parking brake assembly literally exploded in my face. It was all rusted up. I took it to the Yota dealer and they fixed it up for me for about $100.
Don't know but that could be your problem.
