Default Mud flaps?

Anyone knows of any reputable good quality mud flaps available for the RX? I hate washing all the road grime off my doors everyday.

Hi Leoc2004 and welcome to CL. I'd go with the OEM mud guards. They do require a little drilling but it's not hard to do. Sewell carries them.

If you sign up with them they discount the price. They have other accessories too. I saw your other post. I didn't take my '04 far beyond 50K before trading in so I can't be of much help. (edit: I see you have the same color combo I had )

This is a great group here, lots of fun mods. Just hold on to your wallet

I trade in when the next gen comes out I had the '04 for over six years so it really wasn't early. I just don't put on the miles. Good luck with yours.

+1 for the OEM mudflaps. I have them and I think they compliment the look. They are not big and blocky like the flaps on the GX and LX.

Does anyone have pictures of their RX with the mud flaps installed? I like the look of the ones listed on Sewell's website but I've yet to see a full picture with front and back mud flaps.

Here's the front.

Ignore the reflections and glare, I snapped these with my phone about 5 min ago, it's past 8pm here - dusk.

You can see in the rear wheel photo how the mud flap carries along the entire length of the body, from wheel to wheel

Here's a side profile shot. Hard to see being black on black and done via my phone. but you get the idea.

You're welcome!

You'll be quite satisfied with them. Not only do they look good as a mud flap, they obviously but down on rocks hitting your rocker panels that are thrown by the tires.

A little dirty in the photos but when it's clean I rub some Aerospace303 on them to maintain their color.

Yea it sucks whipping all the road grime off the car everyday. I will definitely enjoy it.
