Default Hertz Hi Energy HSK 163

Installing these.

Do not worry about the dent in my dash. All of it is very dry and almost porous. Even with care, it will come out. (Suggestions please?)

Now I wonder where I can put these and where to tap the wires. Does anyone know where the factory crossover is? I want to bypass it.

The sound quality has improved a lot. And i didn't even swap the door midbass speakers yet.

P.S.

1 - Anyone knows if these are the wires coming from the factory amp to the speakers?

2 - Also, what are these brown tubes? There is another like the bigger one on the left side. And they're very dry.

Could the brown tubes be drains from the sunroof area?

They might be. I pushed them out without any effort yesterday and they came out freely. they are not connected to anything down there in the front. The small one seems for me to be for the rear washer.

At 122K miles, I replace the front and rear brake pads and clips, adjusted the rear parking brakes, and bled the brakes. Pedal feels better than new! I also replace the original lower oil line that has the rubber connecting hoses with the new design all metal line. Not bad for a Saturday!

Did a pre-warranty-expiration inspection on the wife's '07. Glad I did as I found a coolant leak from somewhere near the water pump. Also found a strange oil stain around a bolt on the end of the transmission case. It's at 89k with 11 days left on the CPO warranty! Made an appointment to have the dealer check it out Monday afternoon.

Today I thanked my RX for 11 years of service and 146K+ and counting miles of getting me where I need to go in comfort and safety, without ever letting me down or failing to start. The only singular time it did not start was when the battery died, but all it took was a quick jump, and I made a pit stop at a parts store and installed a new battery, and was back on my way.

MrMark,
I absolutely love all of your cars man. Keep up the good work.
I think you need to take a few pics of your RX and do a build thread. Even just a small gallery of pictures would be awesome. You and infinitirx are the only 2 members that I know of that have extensively modified a 2nd gen RX, but infinitirx sold his and moved on to a GX a while back.

Thanks.....I'll take pics after the RX goes through some changes next month. We really don't drive it much but I'm downsizing to 20" wheels which should make the ride a little more comfortable and changing the coilovers too.
