Adam8605:
Steering wheel looks great!

Headlights are impressive as well. Did you buy a modified set, or did a shop mod them for you?

Thanks.

I actually bought a modified set on Ebay. They are great and I have probably had them on for over 3 months now and never had a issue with them at all.

Well wife ordered some oem Lexus rubber floor mats but didn't care for the look from an aesthetic point. The rears are cut a bit too short as well as the fronts.
Ordered the digital floor mats from Weather Tech. Looks like a tough product an I like the "rim" that goes around the mat.

Read up on alchemist's thread and replaced the lower control arms and ball joints this weekend--a bit trying on my patience--long process--wouldn't do that one again. Did the struts last weekend--again a bit challenging using the auto parts store loaner spring compressor. Car drives and rides really nice now, although the it did ride great to begin with as this IS a LEXUS!

I bought one for my wife today. I am so glad to be back in the Lexus scene. I left for Mercedes and was an unhappy and very disappointed man. Needless to say my wife was unhappy as well. Sha can only drive the RX models. She is 4'9" and very tough to please so I got her another RX and she is one very happy woman.

Finely fixed the rattles and creaking noise in my dash board .I hated driving it that way . Now it is tight as a new car . World of difference . I did not have to take the dash out either .

How did you end up fixing it?

Default New headunit

Not today, but last week I installed an aftermarket headunit: Pioneer AVIC F860BT.

Sweet :

Look at what I had to do...

... No. It wasn't necessary for the installation. But the bluetooth microphone jack got stuck somewhere below the center console when I was trying to route it. I had to dismantle it. Good thing is it made it easier to route the wires and I learnt a few things about the car along the way.

Sound quality improved a lot. More after getting rid of the 7 band equalizer in the trunk. The unit already has a 13 band equalizer.

Now, I'm over excited because this is how ugly it was for a few months: WARNING: graphic content.

Only thing I regret is the maps functionality. My fanboyism for Pioneer headunits blinded me and I didn't notice that the maps could not be updated to my country. I love this unit, but am already selling it to buy one form a comapny that works with Garmin, wich has maps for Angola on sale.

Oh! And they called me today saying that my Hertz HSK 163 have arrived. I was full of work, so will pick it (them?) up on tomorrow. Next thing on the list for audio quality: Zapco DC-656 with built in DSP.

Looks way better now! What did you do exactly to go from jagged cutout, to polished looking install?
