Installed my LED fog light bulbs this AM. They aren't that bright, but I knew this prior to putting them in. Surprisingly easy install in under 5 min.

after:

They have a nice white hue almost like a 6000k HID in color

All done. The sound is AMAZING. The speakers literally have vanished and the sound it coming past the windshield in front of me. As if someone is talking to you across a table. Phenomenal staging, time alignment and depth. Treat yourself to this once in your life if you haven't.

@rxonmymind
What model Kenwood is the one you installed? I have a DNX7100 which is showing its age and am thinking of upgrading. Thanks.

I have the DNX691HD. It has the remote **** which I desperately wanted. Lol. Still old school I guess. But I think it's a lower model than yours? Not sure, but it has a lot of features that I was looking for. Pandora, fast start up, Bluetooth streaming and acceptability of multiple phones. Nice little unit so far.

Nice install rxonmyimind, Give us a review of the HU after you use it for a while. My DNX6960 is still working perfectly but the new blue tooth streaming function is calling my name although I'm not sure it's worth 700 bucks to not have to plug the iPhone in.

I hear you man, I hear you. Before there were steering wheel remotes it was about reaching over and dialing down the **** and pushing buttons to change stations. Now it's a $100 to have that feature put back into your upgraded system. Grr.
It's only a $100 right
I'll get back to you in a couple weeks.
For the moment I'm on my honeymoon in sweet bliss......details later.

Default fog light bulbs install

Was it easy to install if it took 5 minutes? Can you explain how to do it.
Thank you

Yes, very easy.

For the passengers side I simply stuck my hand through the open vent under the foglight and twisted the light out and replaced.

For the driver's side it's slightly harder as I had to access via the wheel well.

First, I turned the wheel all the way to the left then shut the car off.
Next, I unscrewed the 2 or 3 screws from the wheel well and reached in to the left side fog light bulb which I replaced thanks to my flashlight on my phone in no time.

Very simple and straight forward.

Just a small thing. But I replaced my factory HID bulbs with these Phillips extreme vision bulbs. These new bulbs are amazing! I picked them because they are 4800k bulbs...less yellow than OEM 4300k bulbs but still not blue. I had tried the Philips 6000k bulbs in the past and they are too blue and the blue tint is awful in the rain. I couldn't be happier with these bulbs they are noticeably brighter and I like the pure white color they emit.

On another note...I finally put that hitch I added to good use. Pulled a 4000-4500 pound trailer 1300 miles and the RX400h did great.

I'm thinking about doing exact same thing and was thinking of a 5000k bulb for pure whiteness

Can you post some pictures please?
