Ok got allot of stuff going on and around the car soon. But I did a small but not insignificant mod toady. It's not complete but I did not realize it when I bought it. All good. Going back and getting the rest of it

I had assumed I would just tape on the one I had but it's not designed for this. Might disassemble it to make it fit.

Should be a mount for my Cell

Well just one more addition to my list. Well almost.

Yeah it's an exact color match. Took about 60sec. to install. I will post pics of the cradle later.

Ok I did some modding to my all so wonderfully flawed charger and made it into a static holder

So before (before ALLOT of things) with the old charger thing that would move all over and fall on a sharp turn

To now Just a so simple mod makes it look good and be more functionally placed. Keeps my hands away form it more as well while driving .

Not a perfect mod but I think a pretty cool one for the price and effort to install was 2min.

I reckon I saw a nicer cradle that'll go well with that, when I find the link i'll send it to you. Great work though buddy.

You reckon correctly I did not feel it was a fair price for there cradles ($75). However their pics are all with a black version. Very easy to hide details and everything blends. Also with theirs you cannot use a protective casing. It's really stable though.

Ah good points. Saw a g2 dice cradle and was contemplating one myself, might just keep looking around.

^^ I would totally buy this thing but search for a charger/holder that will look good as well The g2 dice cradle looks great. But will it fit with a protective casing around the phone? if so I might get it and saw off the back of it to be flush.

Note. Can't do flush with the g2 dice cause the ipod plug is in the rear. But that's not a deal breaker. Only problem is you gotta drill the back plate onto the mount. Looking around for a better solution.

I swear i saw a g2 cradle without the base on your exact leather mount in the IS forums. I think it's called a g2 passthrough or something, where they sell just the aluminum dock without the big cradle and the cables go through the bottom. I'll try to find the thread where i saw it, was either on the my.is site or here.

Yeah it's cool looking. I do not want to take off my protective case every time I dock. Very much doubt these will dock under these conditions unfortunately.
