Well you guys are lucky in the states. My brake recall saw my booster done and they reset the braking points on the brake, but no fuel. All I got was a free hire car (which you would expect anyway) and I still had to pay the $25 insurance.

I'd drop a line to Lexus Corporate and ask them what is going on with their gas top-off program. Is your dealer turning in gas vouchers and not filling customers tanks?
I bet Corporate would like to hear from you on this.

My Dealer in the Dallas area NEVR topped off my tank when in for the recalls. I never heard of that. There is another recall out right now for the floor mat issue on my '04 RX330 & as soon as I get the notice (which was to be sent in May, 2011) I'll take it in. I won't hold my breath for them to top off my tank.

Well, that's kind of comforting, my "Dallas area" dealer has never even waved a nozzle in my car's general direction. I was beginning to take it personally what with all these Lexus princelings rolling around in all that free gas.

Does Lexus do this in Canada as well? I don't think that I noticed any nor did the dealer mention any tank top off. I am sure they would have been proud to mention that.
I'll ask next time I go in for a service.

Your service order receipt states filled gas...check it out.
If your receipt indicates you had a fill up and you never did...call them.
BTW, I have not seen my 2nd letter yet...

On all the recalls, I never received a 2nd letter (sometimes not even a first letter) advising me of a recall. I learned about them thru the media or this forum. This time, I got the first letter in April that said a 2nd letter was coming in May - still never showed up. I always called the dealer & verified the parts were in. They don't need the letter anyway - as long as your VIN shows the recall applied to your car.

in Baltimore, MD - local dealer never topped of our tank during the recall.
If someone can please post here the name of the Lexus Corporate representative and contact info that can be used to site this topping off policy, I see ruffing some feathers.
