Default 2004 RX330 with performance package !!

Hello Guys,
I am new to this club, and want to purchase a 2004 rx330 with the performance package (air supension & auto level). the car had 91K miles, I know the timming belt need to be replace, my concern are those air supension going to last a long time or they're also due to be replace soon, please advise and thanks.

Try not to think about it and hopefully nothing will happen, it's hard to say with these air suspensions. I know in the lx470, i've seen suspensions go south as early as 55k miles, but on the other hand have seen lx's/ landcruisers with 200k+ miles with all original air suspension and in one case, original fluid as well (which i do not suggest)

The ride Height sensor tends to be an issue. I have the same vehicle. The sensor tends to "stick" in the incorrect position and give a false height reading which does not put the proper amount of air in to the right or left side suspension bags.

Have the dealer check the rear and front ride height position sensors. One is located near the back passenger side wheel, and the other near the front Driver side wheel. The linkage looks similar to a sway bar linkage, just smaller.

I know in the ls430, when parked, the car is not level, but it performs as it should,so most people just left it. It may be the same with the rx

Hi Wilton, where in Texas are you? You should have the suspension checked and cleaned, make sure the sensors have not misaligned, etc.

If you haven't established a relationship with a quality independent Lexus tech this would be a good opportunity to do so . If you are near Dallas I can recommend Davenport in Dallas and Plano or JP Importz in Garland.
